My research group works to identify neural mechanisms underlying cognition by developing and validating mathematical 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó. We have linkedÌýobservedÌýindividual and collective behaviors to a diversity of constrained cognitive strategies, developing new mathematical and computational tools for solving, fitting, and identifying nonlinear and stochastic 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó of biological inference and its underlying neural activity representations.
91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Interests:
- Decision making and Bayesian inference
- Dynamics of collective behavior, especially foraging
- Spatiotemporal dynamics of neural circuit 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó
- Stochastic processes and first passage time methods
