Venessa Ortega named assistant vice chancellor for budget management
Mandy Cole, associate vice chancellor for budget & finance and deputy 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó financial officer, has named Venessa Ortega, previously the CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó director of budget administration for Budget & Fiscal Planning, the new assistant vice chancellor for budget management. In her new role, Venessa will build on the strong leadership and impactful relationships she has applied to key financial planning efforts and projects, including within the Financial Stewardship initiative, while taking on expanded responsibilities supporting the Budget & Fiscal Planning team.Â
Budget & Fiscal Planning is responsible for identifying and allocating resources that allow CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó to lead as a comprehensive, public teaching and research university.
