Engineering immune response to infection
Laurel Hind, an Assistant Professor of Biomedical Engineering, isÌýstudying the innate immune response to infection using engineered 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó. Right at the multidisciplinary intersection of engineering, immunology, and molecular biology, her lab at CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó designs microfluidic 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó that repeat many important cell-to-cell interactions, as well as structural components of infectious microenvironments.
