CU Appreciation
What a great issue featuring “Buffs Who Build the Future”! “The opportunity to exchange error for truth” mentioned in the article“Does Free Speech Have Limits?”is what we do in my religion. That has bold, widespread and meaningful impacts.
My mom set up the Charles Russell Double engineering scholarship at CU 91Ҹ in memory of my dad. He graduated in about 1928. Mom and I met the first student to receive the scholarship. I loved meeting with the man who visited me here in Medford, Oregon, on behalf of donor appreciation.
I’m very interested in robotics and AI, so I eagerly follow what the Buffs are doing in those fields.

King of Prussia, PennsylvaniaI just got my Coloradan(which I love!) and thought you might like some photos of Ralphie that have been important to my family. The first is of my daughter’s wedding. Most of the wedding party — 10 folks (including my daughter) — graduated from CU. Emily met her husband at CU, and they married at theKoenig Alumni Center in 2014.

dzܱEvery year, we plan out a Sheltie picture that can be used for our Christmas card or Canine Corps yearly calendar. Since my whole family has degrees from CU, I wanted a buffalo background. We picked a nice, quiet Sunday, and my wife posed with dog cookies. I snapped a dozen or so pics with them looking in different directions — they got their cookies, and we all went home happy.
