Maria works in the areas of Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning and Computational Social Science. Before joining CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó, she was aÌýpostdoctoral researcher at Microsoft 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó NYC. MariaÌýcompleted her PhD at Purdue University in the Department of Computer Science, and her BS in Computer Science & Engineering at the Universidad Simon BolivarÌýin her hometown of Caracas, Venezuela.
