Silvia ±·´Ç²µ³Ü±ð°ùó²Ô-³¢¾±³Ü(she | her) is an associate professor and program chair of Literacy Studies at the School of Education, 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó, 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó. Her research and teaching focus on these areas: (a) the study of equitable and evidence-based literacy practices in elementary classrooms; (b) the critical examination of digital tools in literacy education; and (c) the involvement of families and caregivers in home-school partnerships, leveraging the linguistic and cultural resources of transnational communities. Her work has been published in Reading 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Quarterly, 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó in the Teaching of English, The Reading Teacher, Anthropology and Education Quarterly, Theory into Practice, and other journals and edited volumes. She is a former bilingual elementary teacher.Ìý
