Landscape architecture studio works with City of 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó on design challenge
This fall, Instructor Emily Greenwood's senior landscape architecture studio is working with the City of 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Parks and Recreation Department to design Violet Park in North 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó. On Wednesday, November 6, the class presented their master plans to the client.â Â
Violet Park is adjacent to the 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Meadow and Ponderosa mobile home communities. The new park design has the potential to manage stormwater, serve a diversity of neighborhoods and be a node of community gathering in this part of 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó.â
Students will be presenting their refined master plans to the community during a public meeting at Crest View Elementary on November 21, from 6:30 to 8 p.m.Â
