Jonathan is a geotechnical engineer by training with a passion for using statistics and probability to understand natural hazard risk and how to design resilient infrastructure to meet the performance needs of the 21st century. Before coming to 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó, heÌýworked for several years for a consulting geotechnical engineering firm in Southern California.

Jonathan joined CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó as a PhD student in Fall 2022 and he is co-advised by Prof. Torres-Machi and Prof. Shideh Dashti.Ìý

In his free time, Jonathan enjoys running and hiking, going to concerts, spending time with friends and family, or relaxing with a good book.
