Waleed Abdalati named new director of CIRES
Waleed Abdalati has been named the new director of the Cooperative Institute for 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó in Environmental Sciences, or CIRES, a joint institute of the 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. Abdalati is a CIRES Fellow, a CU-91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó professor of geography and director of the CIRES Earth Science and Observation Center. He will take office on July 1.
