Davis is originally from 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó, CO, and completed his undergraduate degree at CU. He worked on biofuels research at NREL for two years before returning to CU as a Ph.D. student and joining Team Weimer in Fall 2020. He is currently researching how atomic layer deposition can be used to enhance high-temperature materials for aerospace and energy applications. His research interests include sustainable energy, materials science, and reactor engineering. Davis was awarded the NSF Graduate 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Fellowship in Spring 2022. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, hiking, board games, and mixology.
