The Center for Neuroscience serves as a nodal administrative structure the purposes of which are to organize and foster the development of neuroscience research and teaching at CUÌý91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó. TheÌýcenter faculty membersÌýare affiliated with 13 differentÌýdepartments and institutesÌýat CUÌý91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó. The Center for Neuroscience:Ìý
- Administers the CUÌý91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Neuroscience PhDÌýprogram
- Fosters interdisciplinary interdepartmental research and interaction
- Obtains both federal and corporate funds to support the development of neuroscience at CUÌý91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó
- Acts as a focal point for interaction with the neuroscience community at large such as national organizations and programs at other universities
- Fosters interest in neuroscience among undergraduates at CUÌý91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó
