Noah FinkelsteinÌýis one of the founders of PISEC and in fact a child of its precursor, theÌý; he is a Professor of Physics at the University ofÌýColorado 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó and conducts research in physics education, specificallyÌýstudyingÌýthe conditions that support students’ interests and abilities inÌýphysics – developing 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó of context. ÌýHe is deeply committed to blending research, teaching, and community partnership. At the systems scale, he studies how systems change (and don’t) and promotes such change through efforts such as: the Center for STEM Learning, the national Network of STEM education centers, the National Academies RoundTable on STEM Education, and the AAU STEM Education Initiative.
