Degree Management System News and Updates

Degree Management System Update - June 16, 2026

Hello Steering Committee!
Ìý
It’s been a while since my initial communication, and I am pleased to share that the project is moving forward in earnest.ÌýWe have made meaningful progress and are beginning key implementation activities.ÌýHere is the progress so far and what we are currently focused on:
  • Catalog data extraction
  • Setting up our environment to begin building audits
  • Workshops on building audits have been scheduled for early July
As we continue to move forward, it’s time to start thinking about the next steps. First, I need you to identify the curriculum liaisonÌýfor your college or school. This individual will be the point of contact for the functional team that is building the audits to reach out to ask questions regarding missing or unclear curriculum within your college or school.
Ìý
Please send the name of your designated representative to stellic@colorado.eduÌýby Thursday, June 25. If you are unable to identify someone by this date, please let me know.
Ìý
Next, we will be establishing a regular meeting series to support project decision-making and implementation efforts. Please watch for an availability survey in the coming weeks.
Ìý
These meetings are intended to focus on specific agenda items, often resulting in decisions that drive forward progress. If you are unable to attend the meeting, you are welcome to designate a representative on your behalf. The representative should have the authority to represent your school/college and make decisions as needed. To maintain project momentum, decisions made during the meeting will not be deferred to future meetings and will not be reconsidered after they have been finalized.
Ìý
Finally, please remember to visit the project webpageÌýfor updates, resources, and project information.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support as we move into this important phase of the project.
Ìý
Cheers,
Ìý

Degree Management System Update - April 10, 2026

Hello Steering Committee members and campus partners!
Ìý
As the project lead, I will be sending emails to give you updates and share outs throughout this implementation.
Ìý
Since we met a few weeks ago, the implementation team has been working on pre-discovery documentation. This is information that is needed to create our instance to really begin the work! We are continuing to work on developing a timeline. Once this is more clearly defined, we will be sending meeting invites.
Ìý
New emailÌýfor this implementation! If you need to connect about this project in any capacity, please email stellic@colorado.edu.ÌýAmelia Jackson (Implementation Lead) and I will be monitoring this inbox. Please add this email address to your contacts.Ìý
Ìý
Our vendor PM shared aÌýfor you to walk through. It takes about eight minutes to be guided through the student, advisor, and administrator views. This is a great reminder or first introduction to our new degree management system! ÌýThere is no login required, and you are encouraged to share this link with your colleagues! Please note that this is the vendor's environment and not CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó's.Ìý
Ìý
We are excited to being this journey, together, and what this will mean for our students and all campus stakeholders!
Ìý
Kindly,
Ìý
