Welcome to the CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Retired Faculty Association

Retirement should be viewed as a new beginning: a time to redirect and refocus our attention to interests previously unpursued, and a time to take on new, novel challenges as the landscape of the 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó campus and the landscape of higher education, in general continues to evolve in the 21st century. With this in mind, the CU Retired Faculty Association at 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó (CURFA) was established in 2020 to facilitate successful retirement experiences for current and soon-to-be retirees, andÌýencourage retired faculty members to remain actively involved in academic, educational, scholarly and cultural activities on the 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó campus. The association is supported and funded by the Office of the Chancellor, the Office of the Provost , and the Office of Faculty Affairs, and is closely allied with the 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Faculty Assembly (BFA).

CURFA at 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó serves as the principal venue for retired faculty members to remain involved in activities at CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó. Participating in CURFA at 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó is a way for retired faculty members to maintain social, intellectual, and professional contacts, contribute to the 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Campus, and remain informed about on-campus developments and retired faculty benefits programs.
