BVSD updates calendar to match CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó spring break dates

to align the district’s spring break with CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó’s spring break dates.

For a number of years, CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó’s spring break dates have matched with the 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Valley School District’s spring break dates and often those ofÌýthe St. Vrain Valley School District (SVVSD). This is helpful to many CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó employees and CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó parents and families who have students enrolled in one of the two nearby K-12 school districts.Ìý

BVSD and CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó identified a discrepancy for the 2022–23 academic year.Ìý

Following the BVSD Board of Education’s unanimous vote on June 7, BVSD moved spring break to March 27–31, 2023, which matches CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó’s break.

SVVSD has currently not made any changes to its planned March 20–24, 2023, spring break.Ìý

CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó reached out to both school districts to set the stage for future cooperation on calendar setting that benefits all three institutions going forward.
