One more week until spring break, Buffs! This week brings to campus St. Patrick's Day celebrations and events, a mobile food pantry, free coffee and movies, candlelight yoga, a lecture by Nobel Laureate Tom Cech and more.
Monday, March 9

Drop in at the Center for Leadership in C4C S360 or and talk through your ideas for the future of CU 91Ҹ. Whether a fully formed concept or just a spark of inspiration, office hours are designed to provide low-barrier entry into the process. TheBig Ideas initiativeis a campuswide effort to surface and amplify transformational ideas that could shape the university’s impact for decades to come.

Want a resume that stands out to employers? Join Career Services to review effective strategies to highlight your skills and experiences on your resume. Students will be asked to participate in non-verbal ways and have opportunities to speak and work on their resume during the workshop. Our goal is that you'll leave feeling more informed, confident in your next moves and know how to reengage with our staff as you dive into your job search. Prefer in-person workshops? Efforts to return cultural artifacts to descendant communities are reshaping how archaeology is practiced. This raises new legal, ethical and collaborative questions for researchers working in the U.S. and abroad. This public panel hosted by the Center for Collaborative Synthesis in Archaeology and the Institute of Behavioral Science will explore how repatriation, Indigenous sovereignty and heritage law are redefining the field.

Join the International Film Series for a free advance screening of the new film "Project Hail Mary." Science teacher Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling) wakes up on a spaceship with no recollection of who he is or how he got there. As his memory slowly returns, he soon discovers he must solve the riddle behind a mysterious substance that's causing the sun to die out. As details of the mission unravel, he calls on his scientific training and sheer ingenuity—but he may not have to do it alone.

Modeled after a “World Café” format, participants will rotate through themed tables, build on each other’s thinking and explore bold possibilities for CU 91Ҹ’s future.
