Karl Linden to receive prestigious Clarke Prize
The National Water 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Institute and the Joan Irvine Smith and Athalie R. Clarke Foundation will present the 2020 Clarke Prize to Professor Karl Linden on Nov. 10. NWRI administers the prestigious $50,000 prize.
David Shneer, noted Jewish historian, dies at 48
Professor David Shneer, the Louis P. Singer Endowed Chair in Jewish History at CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó, passed away. A noted scholar who helped shape students' lives, Shneer researched 20th century European, Russian and Jewish history and culture.
