Start your CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó experience by making a difference!Ìý

Sko Serve Fall Welcome is a pre-arrival program for incoming first-year students in the Service and Social Action Living Learning Community (LLC). Before classes begin, you'll spend three days serving alongside local nonprofit organizations, exploring 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó and connecting with other students who care about creating positive change.Ìý

This program is a great way to build friendships, get to know campus and the community, and start your first semester with a strong sense of purpose and belonging.Ìý

Dates

Participants must select early move-in and attend a required orientation on Friday, Aug. 14. Service projects will take place Aug. 15-17.Ìý

Who Can Participate

Sko Serve Fall Welcome is available only to incoming first-year students participating in the Service and Social Action LLC (Darley North and South).Ìý

Cost

There is no cost to participate. Students stay in their assigned residence hall rooms, and all transportation, meals and program supplies are provided.Ìý

What You'll Do

During the program, you'll participate in hands-on service projects that address important community needs, including:Ìý

  • Food insecurity
  • Housing insecurityÌý

Each day includes service, opportunities to learn about local issues and guided reflection to help you connect your experiences to your time at CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó.Ìý
