Undergraduate Student Assistant I
The Luger lab is looking for an undergraduate Student Assistant I- Entry/Semi-Skilled to work 15 Ìýhours per week.
Lab duties includeÌýperforming protein purification, DNA binding assays using a range of biophysical approaches, interpreting results, general lab chores. Must be available 2 full afternoons uninterrupted per week;
strong interest protein biochemistry and chromatin organization, reliable; strong attention to detail; able to reproducibly perform repetitive tasks
ÌýMinimum qualifications: Enrolled in Biochemistry orÌýMCDB Major, some experience in a biochemistry lab, > 3.7 cumulative GPA, willingness to work for part of the summer. Ìý

Responsibilities will include to provide in-person, one-on-one sessions, help student improve their knowledge of the course material, provide a comfortable and supportive learning environment, maintain consistent communication with the student, and maintain consistent communication with the Undergraduate Program Coordinator.
Qualifications: Minimum of 3.0 GPA, Minimum of a B in the tutoring course. Full time CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó student who is at least a sophomore, passionate about course content and has the desire to share with other students, desire to teach/share study skills for students’ own success. Work with limited supervision.
Start Date: Spring 2026, expected to continue for multiple semesters. Hourly pay of $20.00.
