About

The Committee on the History and Philosophy of Science at the 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó, 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó seeks to bring together scholars from the sciences and the humanities in order to promote cross-disciplinary communication to facilitate work done in both areas. The Committee sponsors inter-departmental meetings within the university, invites distinguished speakers from other institutions, and holds an annual conference attended by regional, national and international scholars.


The Committee on the History and Philosophy of Science at 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó at 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó is co-sponsored by the 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó College of Arts and Sciences, the Center for the Humanities and the Arts, the Museum of Natural History, and by the following 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Departments: Anthropology, Chemistry and Biochemistry, Geological Sciences; History; Mathematics; Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology; Philosophy; and Physics.
