Students
The various Museum departments hire for a variety of interesting and compelling student hourly positions throughout the year. These positions offer students real-life, hands-on museum experience. Position: Multiple 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Assistant PositionsÌý
Hourly Pay Rate: $26.50
Multiple research assistant positions to help with a study involving moth pollination. Assistants will be responsible for sorting, pinning, spreading, imaging, and properly labeling insect samples for preservation and curation in the 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Museum of Natural History's Entomological collection. Assistant will learn how to identify moth taxa to family (and in some cases genus or species level) and also notate when traces of pollen are observed on individual samples. Experience working with insect specimens is preferred but training will be included in the process.Ìý
