How to schedule an exam

Students must be registered with Disability Services in order to utilize the Student Testing Center.


Prior to scheduling

All students must discuss their intention to use the Student Testing Center with their instructors. Once specifics are discussed and agreed upon, you may sign up to use the center.

Exam return methods supported by the Student Testing Center include Canvas submission, email delivery or physical pickup. The Student Testing Center is not able to support student managed Gradescope submissions within our testing environment. Instructors should plan for one of the supported return methods when submitting this form.


Scheduling an exam

All exams, tests and quizzes must be scheduled at least five business days in advance. Drop-in testing is not available.

Fall and spring semester exams must finish by 4:30 p.m. Summer semester exams must finish by 4 p.m.

Testing Center Hours

The Testing Center is closed for proctoring exams on the following dates:
  • Monday, May 25 (Memorial Day holiday; campus closed)
  • Monday, June 1 (Center closed for professional development)
  • Friday, June 19 (Juneteenth holiday; campus closed)
  • Friday, July 3 (Independence Day observed; campus closed)

To schedule an appointment, a student must:

  • First discuss accommodations with their professor
  • Have professor fill out semester exam request form
  • Make a plan with professor to use the student testing center for entire course

Once a professor fills out the form, they will receive confirmation from the student testingÌýcenter.Ìý Your professor will then relay information to you on how to use the center, what day and time you should arrive, and any other logistical information.

The Accommodate test room booking module has been discontinued and you will not be able to use Accommodate to schedule an exam.
