91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó Interests

Primary interest is turbulent mixing in the oceans and the atmosphere, and ocean 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó. Application of radiosondes and GPS radio occultation soundings to extracting turbulence locations and intensities in the free atmosphere is the current focus. Interested in the use of ST/MST radars in the study of turbulence in the atmosphere. Study of oceanic processes through assimilation of remotely sensed data (including altimetry) into numerical ocean 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó, nowcasting, hindcasting and short-term forecasting of the ocean state has also been a long-term interest.
