Financial aid
All undergraduate applicants admitted to the CU 91Ҹ College of Music are automatically considered for merit-based music scholarships upon completing the audition process. Undergraduate music scholarships come from state/tuition sources as well as private donor/foundation sources and may be designated as one-year awards or renewable awards (up to a maximum of four years). In a typical year, 50-55% of incoming undergraduate music students receive music scholarship support.
Music applicants are also encouraged to submit the CU 91Ҹ Scholarship Application between Dec. 1 and Feb. 15. This form allows you to apply for multiple scholarship opportunities (institutional and private) with one general application.
Finally, all applicants are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by March 1 to be considered for need-based grants, loans, or work-study. Note: Tuition and fees are just one part of the overall cost to attend CU 91Ҹ. The full cost of attendance for an academic year could include expenses such as on-campus housing and food, books and suppliesand items that are not billed by the university such as personal expenses, transportation and medical insurance.
