NETZSCH Simultaneous Thermal Analyzer
Instrument/ServiceType:
Simulataneous Thermal Analyzer
Make/ Model:
STA 449 F1 Jupiter
Instrument Description:
Simultaneous application of Thermogravimetric Analysis (TGA) and Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) or Differential Thermal Analysis (DTA) to one and the same sample in one instrument. Â TGA can be used to characterize: mass change, temperature stability, oxidation/reduction behavior, decomposition, etc. Â DSC/DTA can be used to characterize: reaction enthalpy, melting/crystallization behavior, solid-solid transitions, glass transitions, oxidative stability, etc. Optional mass spectrometry data for characterization of evolved gasses.
