Human Subjects CITI Training
The Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program)Ìýis an online training platformÌýwhere CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó staffÌýcan access variousÌýresearch complianceÌýcourses. CU 91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó requires all researchers involved inÌýhuman subject research to complete and obtain training withÌýa minimum passing score of 80%Ìýon theÌýCITIÌýHuman SubjectsÌý91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó course appropriate to their field of study.Ìý
Renewal & Expiration
Human SubjectsÌýCITI training is valid for 3 years after completion. 91ÃÛÌÒ¸óers must complete and pass theÌýCITI Human SubjectsÌý91ÃÛÌÒ¸ó refresherÌýcourse every three years.¸é±ð²õ±ð²¹°ù³¦³ó±ð°ù²õÌýwill receive a reminder from CITI to complete the refresher courseÌýevery 90, 30, and 7 days prior to ³Ù³ó±ð¾±°ùÌýtraining expiration. One final reminder will be sent ²¹´Ú³Ù±ð°ùÌý a researcher’sÌýcertification expires. It is the researcher’sÌýresponsibility to keep CITI trainings current.
All human subject protocolÌýsubmissions will be returned without review if any key personnel (e.g. principal investigator, co-investigators, faculty advisor, etc.) on a study does not have a valid training status.
